Term 3 Review
As we head into the last week for Term 3, I thought it would be a great opportunity to reflect on the many wonderful things that have taken place this term. Some of the highlights include:
- The 8-week gymnastics program for Years 4 & 6
- Athletics Carnivals
- Public Education Week which included parents visiting classrooms, a P&C morning tea, Corroboree Day and the NED Show
- The Western Sydney Wanderers Football Clinics for Years 3-6
- Premier's Spelling Bee State Final
- Bullying No Way - National Week of Action
- Various fundraising events - Green and Gold Day, Soccer Shoot-outs, Father's Day Stall, Self Portrait Competition, Spare Change Challenge, Cake Stall
- Premier's Debating Challenge
- Author visit for Year 5
- Book Week, Book Character Parade and Book Fair
- External Validation
- Excursions for Year 3 and Stage 3
- Multicultural Day
- Public Speaking Competitions
- Check-In Assessment (Yrs 3-6), Phonics Screening (Year 1) and Valid Science Assessment (Year 6)
- Cowpasture Hall of Fame display and NAIDOC Celebration
- Strive for 5 - Attendance Raffle
We are so proud of these achievements and look forward to many more learning opportunities and events in Term 4. Students return to school on Monday 14 October.
