Term 3 Review

As we head into the last week for Term 3, I thought it would be a great opportunity to reflect on the many wonderful things that have taken place this term. Some of the highlights include:

• The 8-week gymnastics program for Years 4 & 6
• Athletics Carnivals
• Public Education Week which included parents visiting classrooms, a P&C morning tea, Corroboree Day and the NED Show
• The Western Sydney Wanderers Football Clinics for Years 3-6
• Premier's Spelling Bee State Final
• Bullying No Way - National Week of Action
• Various fundraising events - Green and Gold Day, Soccer Shoot-outs, Father's Day Stall, Self Portrait Competition, Spare Change Challenge, Cake Stall
• Premier's Debating Challenge
• Author visit for Year 5
• Book Week, Book Character Parade and Book Fair
• External Validation
• Excursions for Year 3 and Stage 3 
• Multicultural Day
• Public Speaking Competitions
• Check-In Assessment (Yrs 3-6), Phonics Screening (Year 1) and Valid Science Assessment (Year 6)
• Cowpasture Hall of Fame display and NAIDOC Celebration
• Strive for 5 - Attendance Raffle

We are so proud of these achievements and look forward to many more learning opportunities and events in Term 4. Students return to school on Monday 14 October.
