Attendance

If your child is going to be away from school for any reason, illness, medical appointment, holiday etc then please add an attendance note on Compass. These can be submitted on the day of the absence or in advance of any absence. Thanks to all the families who regularly complete this for their children. 

Our teachers mark the class roll at 9am and again after lunchtime play at 2:40pm. 

An automated text message is generated and sent to parents for any child who has an unexplained absence following the 9am roll. This will occur now at 9:30am.

Our office will then make contact with any families that still have unexplained absences for their children later in the morning.

To account for all children, if you arrive late or are leaving early then you must sign your child in and out at the school office on the Compass Kiosk.  This ensures we have accurate attendance data in the event of an emergency/evacuation.
