Deputy Principal's Message

Welcome to the last week of the term. Thank you for your ongoing support of our students, teachers and school over the term. I wish you all a fantastic break and look forward to welcoming back our students on Monday 14 October for the last term of the school year. 

SRC Fundraiser - Friday Week 1

Last week, the SRC unanimously voted to hold a fundraiser to raise money for World Wildlife Fund Australia, to help save some of Australia's endangered species.

The fundraiser will be in the form of a pyjama day on Friday 18 October (Friday of Week 1, Term 4). Students are asked to bring a gold coin donation and wear their pyjamas to school. Appropriate footwear must also be worn. More details to come next term. 

Arts Unit Dance Workshop

In Week 7, six of our  Stage 3 students participated in a 4 day dance workshop held in the purpose-built dance studio at ASC. The workshops were led by professional dancers, choreographers and teachers and involved students from a range of schools in Armidale. The program showcased excellence and artistry in dance and covered a variety of dance styles, enabling students to develop their dance technique, creativity, and performance quality. It was a fantastic experience for our students who all had a wonderful time.
