Library

At the library we have board games, card games and puzzles that you are welcome to come and play any day during break 2, from 1:30 until 2 pm. Fridays at this time we also have dedicated "Friday = Funday" games club. In Term 1 of 2025 we've been playing an ongoing game of monopoly which we continue each Friday. Pam, the Teacher Librarian, is currently in danger of winning if she doesn't go bankrupt first (she has invested all of her cash in 3 complete sets, with lots of houses... look out!!!). 

In Term 2 we will run our annual Chess Tournament, then in Term 3 a Scrabble Tournament, and in Term 4 a Rubik's Cube Tournament. So, if you would like to participate in any, or all, of these tournaments please sign up at the library so that we can plan the matchups.

In other news, the "Technology Tuesday" and "Wizarding Wednesday" clubs have finished the Chamber of Secrets (basement level) of our hopefully gigantic Hogwarts Castle build! Now it is time for the castle itself! The plan is to include motors to create staircases that actually move, like in the first Harry Potter movie and the book series... wish us luck!
