Year 10 Student Manager Update

Every day matters

As the Year 10 Student Managers, we’re excited to share some highlights from the start of the year, especially the amazing transition excursion to Luna Park that the entire cohort had the opportunity to enjoy!

The trip to Luna Park was not only a chance to have some fun, but also a perfect opportunity for all students to bond, make new friends, and get to know each other better. Whether it was the thrills of the roller coasters or the calm chatting with friends, everyone had a great time. It was an exciting and engaging experience that helped break the ice and set a positive tone for the rest of the year.

We’re also proud to say that we’ve had a fantastic start to the year. The transition into Year 10 has been smooth for most students, and students are starting to get into the rhythm of being a homesteader. Students are adjusting well to the routine and embracing the responsibilities that come with being in a senior school. It’s been encouraging to see everyone settle into their classes, form new friendships, and attend study hall on Thursday after school.

Looking ahead, we want to remind everyone that next term, we’ll be holding exam workshops to help prepare for students first set of senior exams. These workshops will be a great resource, providing students with the tools and strategies they need to succeed.

Overall, it’s been a wonderful start to the year, and we can’t wait to see how everyone continues to grow, learn, and support one another throughout the year. Let’s keep up the great work and look forward to even more exciting opportunities ahead!

Until next time,

Your Year 10 Student Managers Lachlan Mallia and Ben Jackson
