On a scale of 1-10, how has our school  been  learning this week? 

Prep AK - 8 Using blocks to make Maths more fun and counting 10’s frame 

Prep SV - 8 doing well in reading groups and performing arts is a lot of fun

1/2 MB -  10 learning about fractions- half and quarter and how to draw them

1/2 DG -  9 gathering materials to make our robots

1/2 AS - 9 persuasive writing and sharing opinions 

3/4 TR - 9 Flip books (inquiry)

3/4 SK - 9 math and inquiry groups

3/4 VA - decimals, STOP motion projects

5/6 BOC -  8 “Banker’’ program where we have a virtual bank account, Poetry

5/6 FA -  8 financial math/ money  and finishing ‘’War Horse’’ our class novel

 

 

On a scale of 1-10, how has our school  been  working together this week?

Prep AK-  8  keeping our class clean and tidy and packing away,

Prep SV-  9 Buddy Time - playing with our buddy and spending time with them

1/2 MB- 10 we are all helping and looking after Ms Brown

1/2 DG 10 working really well together , listening and answering questions

1/2 AS 8 some people need to stay calm and finish their learning in class 

3/4 TR - 9 lots of people have been listening to the teacher and finishing their learning tasks

3/4 SK -  7 need to listen to instructions and sit in our assigned seats

 

3/4 VA - 10 every one is working very well in the teams

5/6 BOC 10 we are co operating, sharing ideas and 

5/6 FA 9 we are helping each other and staying focused

 

 

Learning and events at Trinity this week:

  • Passport to Success Program for Year 6 on Tuesday
  • Bebras Challenge
  • Grandparent and special person morning,  Mass and morning tea
  • Bike ED 
  • Confirmation Family evening at 6.30
  • Day for Daniel on Friday

What can we improve

Keeping all our play areas clean and tidy

Keeping the junior deck clean and lunch boxes inside

We are seeing less rubbish in the yard.

We all need to check the bins and use bins that are not full.

 

Sand pit clean and not throwing / digging the sand out 

Leave the sand equipment in the sand pit

If you play in the sand pit then remind others to do the same 

 

Suggestions from the SRC - 

Fun / dress up day to raise money like the Mini Fete but for everyone

Can we sell icy poles again on Tuesday??

 

Safety issues from the SRC 

Please let the office know if the toilet floor is wet and slippery

If you need to go to sick bay please tell  a teacher first
