EVERYONE IS WELCOME AT SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP SERVICES

Worship services are held at 8.30am and 10.00am each Sunday and all are welcome to attend.  The service types are traditional and contemporary respectively and on the First Sunday of each month we come together for one service at 9.30am with a blended style of worship. This means that this Sunday 3 November, there will be one service at 9.30am.  This Sunday we will commemorate All Saints Day and during this service there will be a rite of remembrance to honour persons of faith who have died this past year believing in Christ Jesus and His salvation.  Tea and coffee fellowship is held after most services each week.

If you would like to talk life and faith, give Pastor Matt a call on 0420 958 898.

ALL SAINTS DAY

DID YOU KNOW?  All Saints Day is celebrated on the 1 of November every year and is a good time to face death and sadness with hope and courage.  In the Church we remember and give thanks to God for Christians who have died in the faith and during the service, we light candles to remember those friends and loved ones. The Bible verses 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 remind us that while we grieve those gone before us, we have hope that all people who live in Jesus, both living and dead, will be there on the day when He returns and will live with him together forever in Heaven.

‘Blessed are you who weep now, for you will laugh.’

Luke 6:21b

PLAYGROUP @ ST PAUL

Playgroup @ St Paul is a place where children 0-5 can play, explore, grow, sing, laugh and have fun with their parent/caregiver.  Playgroup is on each Tuesday during school term in the Hall, from 9:00-10:30am, although we welcome anyone from 8.30am onwards. Cost is $2 per family.

This week we made crafts to celebrate Diwali and played with sand and rain sticks to go with the book ‘Summer Rain’ by Ros Moriarty.

Next week we will be looking at rockets to go with the book ‘Roaring Rockets’ by Tony Mitton and Ant Parker.

SPY - ST PAUL YOUTH

SPY is a time of fun and games, some devotional conversations and a shared supper and is for school Years 6-8.  SPY runs the first and third Friday of every month during school term in the Hall from 7:00-9:00pm.  SPY is on again this Friday 1 November.   If you have any questions, please contact Dan Kitson, Younger Persons and Families Ministry Facilitator for St Paul Church at ypfministry@stpaul-church.org.au.
