Prospect Spring Fair
I wish to extend a warm thank you to all staff and school families who visited the St Paul Lutheran School stall at the Prospect Fair. The appraisal from St Paul children was that we were successful in setting up a space that looked like our classrooms. We were kept busy all day with fabulous conversations with current families, past families and prospective new families. Thank you to Laura Azzopardi for her effort in making the stall a success, along with Mike Kroon and Jess Robinson.
If you know any families who visited us at the fair and would like to see the school, our upcoming school tours for prospective enrolments are:
- Monday 4 November 10am
- Monday 4 November 6pm
- Friday 22 November 10am
- Monday 2 December 2pm
We also offer negotiated tour times for families where the listed tours are not an option for them. Please encourage your friends not to despair, and to contact the school office, or registrar Laura Azzopardi on lazzopardi@stpaulba.sa.edu.au.
LLL Bursaries for Fee Support
The Lutheran Laypeoples League has announced the provision of an LLL Bursary Grant from the commencement of the 2025 school year with the guiding principle to provide the opportunity for as many students as possible to attend a Lutheran school who would otherwise be precluded from doing so due to financial hardship.
The bursary grants are intended to be awarded for a maximum of six years but reviewed on an annual basis to ensure financial need remains and the recipient continues to contribute broadly and positively to the life of the school. They are prioritised to those children entering the traditional primary and secondary intake years, that is, the first year of formal primary schooling or the first year of secondary school. The grants are to cover up to 50% of the annual tuition fee (exclusive of camps and levies) up to a maximum of $5,000.
Only applications received prior to Sunday 24 November 2024 will be considered by the assessment panel with notifications to the school and applicants expected in early December.
