Learning in M29

Looking back with M29! 

Through our history unit, the students learned how and why Europeans settled in Australia.  We looked at the poverty and overcrowding of prisons in England, how Captain Cook discovered Australia, and the impacts the settlement had on the Indigenous people of Australia.

Here are some of the fantastic learning the students have done over the past few weeks. The students were tasked with using ICT to research a convict who was sent on the First Fleet and create a wanted poster. The posters were developed on PowerPoint, where students were able to further develop their computing skills.
