On the weekend the school and Parish community gathered in the Hall for a Synodal meeting about directions for our Parishes in the North Shore Area. It was a time of reflecting on four key questions from Bishop Randazzo . If you would like to see what the questions were and have your say about our Parish in particular you are warmly invited to do so by individual submission. (see link below) Be proactive about changes you would like to see!! Submissions need to be in by November 12.

Socktober - let's sock it to Poverty.

Socktober is an event that helps support all different countries in the world. This year they are supporting Mongolia with their Caring Centre. I can help Mongolia's children by bringing in a donation for the children. $5 might sound like a little bit of money, but together we can all make a big difference. We can also help by wearing sensational socks and playing soccer. We do this because we want to follow in Jesus' footsteps and do what he wanted us to do, making a better world for everyone! Ashlyn - Year 3

WE SOCKED IT TO POVERTY ON FRIDAY, 18 OCTOBER!

All students and staff at Holy Family Catholic Primary School followed our Heads, Hearts and Hands to make a difference. We joined Catholic Mission in their Socktober program by wearing sensational socks to school and bringing in a monetary donation.

Thank you to you all for your generosity!

Head: We will expand our students' understanding of global issues by immersing them in the reality of children in developing countries.

Heart: We will inspire love and compassion in students through storytelling and formation activities that connect them with the people we support.

Hands: We will encourage students to take action by praying, advocating, and providing financial support to children in need to make a real impact.

Thank you for your continued support in building the Kingdom of God at Holy Family.

Kind regards

Liana Stella
