Grade 6

The Grade 6 students are buzzing with excitement as we enter Term 4, filled with all the incredible end-of-year activities that we’ve been eagerly awaiting. From fun events to special celebrations, this term promises to be a memorable one. However, there’s also a bittersweet feeling in the air as we realise this is our final term of primary school. It's hard to believe that soon we’ll be stepping into the next chapter of our lives.

In maths, we’ve been getting creative with our Ice Cream Inventor unit, where we design and develop our own ice cream flavours. This project has allowed us to put our mathematical skills to the test, especially in budgeting and measurement, while having fun exploring innovative flavour combinations.

In English, we’re sharpening our writing skills with a focus on persuasive writing. We’ve been learning how to craft compelling arguments, support our opinions with strong evidence, and convince others to see things from our point of view. The topics we’re tackling are not only engaging but also helping us become more confident in expressing our ideas.

One of the most exciting parts of this term is our upcoming dance production. We’ve been working hard, practising our dance moves and perfecting our routine. Every rehearsal brings us closer to performing on stage in front of our families and friends, and we can't wait to show off what we've been working on!

As we look ahead to the exciting events on the calendar, from graduation to our final dance performance, we’re cherishing every moment and making the most of this special term.
