Grandparents and Special Friends Day
We had a wonderful time celebrating Grandparents and Special Friends Day at school! It was a day filled with love, joy and lots of special moments shared between our students and their wonderful grandparents.
Our celebration began with a beautiful Mass where we thanked God for all the love and care our grandparents give us. In the Years 1 and 2 space, students and grandparents joined together for some activities which included painting, drawing portraits and board games. It was amazing to see everyone working together, laughing and creating beautiful memories.
After Mass, everyone was invited to enjoy a delicious morning tea. There were tasty treats, warm drinks and lots of smiles as students and their grandparents chatted and caught up.
Italian Day
We were very lucky to celebrate Italian Day at school - a day packed with excitement, tasty food and plenty of learning about Italy's rich culture.
The day kicked off with everyone looking their best in Italian-themed outfits. Many students wore the colours of the Italian flag - green, white and red - while others got creative with costumes like gondoliers, pizza chefs and even Italian soccer stars. It was fantastic to see the school filled with bright colurs and Italian spirit.
Italian Day was also celebrated with delicious Italianfood that was available from the canteen. We got to enjoy all kinds of classic Italian dishes like pizza and pasta.
Throughout the day, we also took the time to learn more about Italy and its amazing culture. We talked about famous landmarks like the Trevi Fountain. It was a wonderful way to explore Italy’s history, traditions and language.
Years 3 and 4
Billabong Ranch Camp
From October 28th to 30th, the Years 3 and 4 students embarked on an unforgettable school camp adventure at Billabong Ranch. The trip was filled with excitement, teamwork, and new challenges as students enjoyed a range of engaging activities in the beautiful outdoors.
Throughout their stay, students had the chance to try archery, camel riding and pedal boating, as well as bouldering and bungee trampolining. They tackled the low ropes and obstacle courses with enthusiasm, worked together during initiative games and even had time for volleyball and mini golf. The animal walk gave students a close-up experience with the ranch’s friendly animals, adding an extra touch of excitement to their stay.
The weather was warm and sunny, perfect for all the outdoor activities and the delicious food kept everyone energised and happy. Both staff and students came away with wonderful memories of camp, new friendships and stories to share back at school.
