NEW FACES (PART 2)
SHERENE DICKSON (Year 4 Teacher)
What is your new role at BHCS and what are you excited about for the future?
Although I've been involved with the school since 2004, I've spent the last decade raising our family (with the occasional foray back into the classroom). For the first three terms this year I have been tutoring, but for Term 4 I have stepped into Mr T's shoes and am teaching Year 4. I'm looking forward to journeying with this great bunch of kids and creating some memorable learning experiences - like our camp which is going to be awesome!
What did you do previously?
It's hard to think of 'pre-BHCS' as I feel that Belgrave Heights CS is a part of my DNA. BHCS has been pivotal in so many aspects of my life. I began my teaching career as Miss Whittaker at BHCS. I met my husband at BHCS - and then we taught together too. I've brought my babies in to show friends on staff and now those same babies are students in Primary and Kinder. I've even taught some of our current staff and parents - doesn't that make me feel old?
What do you like to do for fun?
I'm a keen netballer, enjoy spending time with my extended family and love going to Wollongong for the Summer holidays.
GRACE READ ( YEAR 1 TEACHER)

I am teaching in Year 1, taking over from Mrs Campion. I am excited about returning to BHCS, as I was a student here, to teach my own class.
What did you do previously?
I have been a teacher for seven years, and have taught in different schools, including a year teaching in Bright!
What do you like to do for fun?
I love reading, going on walks with my husband and puppy, and catching up with friends over brunch.
