School Council Update
School Council Update Oct 2024
Welcome to the first edition of the Le Page Primary School Council update. This update aims to create an open line of communication with School Council and the important work it does for the growth, promotion and development of our school.
School Council’s role is to make decisions that set our school’s direction and ensures the school is run with the best interest of all our students.
What’s on our Agenda.
- Addressing parking and traffic concerns around the school. We have raised our concerns with Kingston Council and the State Government. You’ll note we will have some traffic counters around the school in the coming weeks.
- Closed off the uniform investigation works and investigating a bucket hat option that forms our uniform package.
- Starting to think about canteen options for the school, please complete the survey that will come out shortly.
- How we can improve communication across the school, and setting some clear expectations and parameters around communication on the different platforms.
- Ideas on where we can spend our fundraising money that will improve the school, wellbeing for the students that will enhance their growth.
