About the cause PANDA - Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia - created Perinatal Mental Health Week in 2005 to help the community and health professionals to better understand perinatal mental health. Perinatal covers the time from pregnancy up until one year after birth. Perinatal Mental Health Week 2024 is from 17- 23 November. Having first-hand experience of mental health challenges in the perinatal period, I know the impact this can have on a family. Becoming a parent is one of the biggest physical and emotional transitions a person can make and some parents experience feelings that affect their wellbeing and ability to function in daily life. This event will bring friends together to talk about the joys and challenges of parenting all while having fun creating our masterpieces and raising funds for PANDA.
