Year 5 & Prep Buddies

Last week, our Year 5 and Prep students enjoyed a fantastic first buddy session in the school library. The Preps chose their favourite books and the Year 5s stepped into the role of storytellers. It was wonderful to see the Preps listening so attentively and the Year 5s showing such patience and enthusiasm. We’re excited to see these connections grow and more special moments shared with our buddies throughout the year!

Year 5/6 STEM Challenge

Last week, our Year 5/6 boys took on an exciting STEM challenge while the girls participated in the Live, Life, Whole program. They were tasked with designing and building a bridge within a $10 budget, choosing from materials like pipe cleaners, paper, tape and paddle pop sticks. It was fantastic to see the boys showing such great teamwork and resilience throughout the day. A special shoutout to Chase and Louis, whose winning bridge held an impressive 1.7kgs!
