Primary Library News

Welcome to another year in our school library!
Primary students visit the Library on a weekly basis. During this time, they are guided to develop a love of reading for pleasure as they browse books to borrow and spend time reading in a special place dedicated to literature and its enjoyment and discovery.
Students can borrow up to 4 books at one time and for a period of 2 weeks and are encouraged to borrow from both our fiction and non-fiction collections.
Students in years 3-6 who may require more than two weeks to finish a book, can manage their loans by logging into Infiniti, our Library Management System, to request a renewal. Alternatively, they can request a renewal during their Library session.
Overdue notices are sent to families on a regular basis. If you think a book has been misplaced, please email library@pvcc.vic.edu.au so this can be taken care of for you.
Actively Stewarding Library Books
As we begin the term, we have been talking to students about looking after their library books and what this means.
I look forward to supporting your child's reading journey this year!
Warm regards,
Vanessa Carnevale
