Community Piano

What Does Community Mean to You?

Help Us Decorate This Piano!

A piano is more than just an instrument—it’s a canvas for expression, a gathering place, and a symbol of harmony.

What makes our community special? Is it the friendships, the shared stories, the support, or the creativity we bring to one another? Through colours, patterns, and meaningful symbols, a group of current Year 12 students – Pia Burke, Elliot Burchett, Lisia Tuinukuafe, and Tiarnah Pullen received funding from Bunnings, Vermont South to transform an old, dusty piano donated by the College Instrumental Music program into a living artwork that celebrates our community’s connection, belonging, and the power of coming together.

This is a final call to invite YOU – staff, students, parents/carers to help complete the transformation of this piano into a vibrant reflection of what community means to us all!

Join us in adding your touch — draw a small detail, write a word, or share an idea. Every stroke tells a story, and together, we’ll create something truly unforgettable.

Once complete, the piano will be placed on the school grounds in a location accessible for all to use at appropriate times.

Please see our friendly Arts/Technology staff located in B block staff room to contribute.

Thank you to Bunnings Vermont and the Instrumental Music program for their donations.
