Dear Parents/Guardians
Congratulations to our Year 5/6 students who represented St. Joseph’s at the Festival of the Sacred last week. It was a wonderful celebration and I have received several pieces of feedback on the outstanding singing by our students.
Over the last two weeks, I have been working with our Leadership Team, guided by our Principal Consultant from Catholic Education Sandhurst on our Strategic Planning for 2024-2027. I look forward to sharing this and our Annual Action Plan with you early next year.
Tomorrow at 10:00 am we will have our whole school End of Year Mass, celebrating the beginning of Advent. We welcome all parents and friends to attend.
Please be reminded that our end-of-year celebration is next Thursday evening in the Church, beginning at 6:00 pm.
Covid Reminder
There are a number of cases within our community. A reminder to please keep students home if they are displaying symptoms or have tested positive. We still have a collection of tests available at school if you need them.
Climate Survey Feedback
Please see the Parent Engagement section for feedback on our last climate survey.
Staff News
I am pleased to announce that Rebecca Spiteri and Stephanie Mason will join our staff in 2024. Rebecca has worked with us this year and we are very pleased that she is able to continue. Stephanie has joined us this year as a relief teacher and will be a welcomed addition to St. Joseph’s as an experienced teacher. We also welcome back Mark Butters to our 2024 staffing lineup.
Each year we review our class structures and student placements. There are many factors considered in this process, these range from student needs, student numbers, and well-being factors, to name a few. Our teachers will plan and work together to ensure that student's academic progress and well-being needs are prioritised.
We are excited to announce our 2024 Class Structures.
