Year 9 Agriculture Growing Healthy Food

Year 9 Agricultural Technology have worked hard during Semester 2 to build a spray-free market garden and see many crops through to harvest. The students had fun building garden beds, mulching, planting-out and finally harvesting. Weeding was a challenge at times and the students rose to the occasion. 

The harvest provided students with fresh, spray-free produce, rich in nutritional value and a fantastic sense of achievement. They even supplied lettuce to the canteen! Year 9 Ag can be very proud of the skills they have learnt, and we are all looking forward to eating the produce they grow in the future!
