TERM 4
The year is flying by and it is hard to believe that tomorrow will be December. The school calendar leading up to the end of the year looks full. Check out the 'Dates for your Diary' section of this newsletter to find preliminary dates for 2024.
Volunteer's Morning Tea
Tomorrow, Friday 1 December at 10:40 we invite all parents who have volunteered throughout the school year to come for morning tea. If at any time over the year you have volunteered your time (BBQs, Trivia Night, classroom activities, excursions, camps, Chickens, sporting events etc....) then please come along on Friday and join us for coffee and treats.
Musical Soiree
This week, forty-five of our instrumental students performed for their parents and families. Many of these students have just commenced their lessons and although a little nervous, performed with great skill and composure. Thank you to our instrumental teachers - Diana Matthews (keyboard), Laura Harris (Percussion) and Tom Glover (guitar) for all of your preparation of the students and program. Instrumental lessons will be back again in 2024, forms available soon.

Phoebe O'Shaughnessy is leaving us and heading to Melbourne Grammar School at the end of the year, to take up a teaching position there. We wish her all the very best as she makes this transition and thank her for her contribution to Mullum Primary School over the last two years.
We also say farewell to Ros Hill, long-time staff member at Mullum Primary School and at Norwood Primary School before that. Over the last few years Ros has been working with our Grade 3/4 students in the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program. We want to thank Ros for all of her contributions to educating so many of our current and past Mullum students, and wish her all the very best in her retirement.
