Performing Arts

We have had a productive start to the term in Performing Arts. Students have been exploring elements of dance learning a range of choreographed dances and creating their own movements. We celebrated Halloween with a number of drama and music activities. 

Students have also been revising their knowledge of the treble cleff and staff including identifying the note names in our music house.

Year 5/6 students have been busy rehearsing their performance items for the Festival Of The Sacred. The junior students have enjoyed exploring the instruments on our return to the hall this term. Some of these activities have included the electric drums, marimbas and keyboards. 

We are looking forward to rehearsing some songs in preparation for the end of year Mass and learning some Christmas carols.
