CURRICULUM FOCUS

This week we are learning that multiplication and division problems can be solved in four different ways: grouping, arrays, repeated addition/subtraction and number lines 

VOCABULARY

Arrays: A visual representation to easily create equal groups.

Repeated Addition/Subtraction: The number is said or written more than once.

ACTIVITIES YOU CAN DO AT HOME TO SUPPORT YOUR CHILD'S LEARNING

Ask your child to solve one of the following problems, in as many ways as they can. They might draw a picture, write a number sentence, use grouping, repeated addition or number lines!
