A message from our Principal

Dear St. Brendan's School Community,

There was great excitement this week with the start of our Swimming Program, especially our Juniors.  As we had floods last year, the students were unable to have their Swimming Programme.

All students will have one week of swimming and a Fun Day on the last day of Term 4, Monday, 18th December.

Thanks to parents for ensuring all children have their clothing labelled.

Staff Update

We welcome Cathy Anderson to our school in a full time teaching position for 2024.  Cathy taught at our school for many years and has a great deal of experience.   We are very pleased to have Cathy join our staff.

We are very pleased to have Elley Drummond join our school.  Elley will be working in the 1/2 area and has experienced working with Juniors.

Reports

Teachers have been working hard on completing your child's report.  They will be sent home on Friday, 15th December.  If you are going away before this date, we will send the reports to you.

Class Solver

Teachers have got the children to write down students they would like to be in their room next year.  

We have a new program called Class Solver and this will organise the children into their classes after we put the information in.

All children will have one child in their room that they have on their list, not necessarily their first choice.

Assembly

We will have Assembly this Friday in the Courtyard and MJR Awards will be given out.  Parents are most welcome to attend.

We wish Kim Wong and her family all the best as her daughter, Maddie gets married this Saturday.  Good luck and have a great day!

Kim will be on Long Service Leave from Wednesday, 22nd to mid next week.
