I’m not crying, you're crying.

I am truly proud that during 2023 we have been able to continue the tradition of implementing a program of events that engages and builds the OLA networks and community and provides essential funds for improvements to the school. We have also managed to have some fun along the way! 

Thank you to all the P&F Team 2023 for making it happen.

We have met all of our fundraising goals this year and I can’t wait to see the improvement projects take shape at the school. I have very much enjoyed my involvement with the P&F Team and this year especially as the Chair has been very rewarding.

I am very pleased to be handing over the role of Chair next year to be shared by Lauren Koukoumanos and Claudelle Salter. I know that they will do an excellent job in 2024. I look forward to participating as a parent helper and I wish them and the team every success.

Grade 6 Graduation - Dec 14

We have one more event for the year, the Grade 6 graduation coming up on Thursday December 14. It’s wonderful to see that all the grade 6 families have rsvp’d to attend, we look forward to making the day extra special for you. 

Thank you to Kara Bogicevic and the Grade 5 families for hosting the event. We have a lovely tradition here at OLA that the Grade 5 families host the Grade 6 families for their graduation. A tradition we are delighted to be continuing this year.

OLA PARISH FETE 2024

Hello OLA Community

The countdown to the 2024 fete is on and preparations are well underway!Next years fete will be held on Saturday 23rd November from 9am-3pm, so save the date in your diaries now!

DONATIONS

We are now taking donations of good quality second hand books, toys and games, so if you’re having a pre Christmas clear out, please send your donations our way. Anything you wish to donate can be left in the School Reception.

VOLUNTEER NEEDED

We are seeking a volunteer for the Sponsorship & Donations coordinator. This role is vital in making sure weget sponsorship to keep costs down and profits up, and goods donated for prizes and raffles. If you’re interested in taking on this role and supporting our fete in ‘24 please reach out.

COORDINATORS NEEDED

We’re also looking for coordinators for other roles vital to the running of the fete on the day. These are listed below:

Catering coordinator

Entertainment coordinator

SHOUT OUT FOR STALL HOLDERS

We still need volunteers to coordinate the running of the following stalls in the lead up to and on the day of the fete:

Lucky bottles

Lucky dip

Pre-loved games/toys

 Raffle

Secondhand books

 Silent auction

 Snow cones
