Horsham College Automotive Excursion 2023: A Glimpse into Automotive Excellence

We're excited to share the success of our recent Year 10 and VET Automotive Excursion on October 18. Our thanks go to the Wimmera Southern Mallee LLEN Network and the businesses, Lester's Automotive, Morrow Motor Group, O'Connors Farm Machinery, and Wimmera Diesel Injection for generously hosting our students.

The excursion provided invaluable insights into diverse automotive roles, from tradespersons to management and everything in between. Students experienced workshop tours, gaining practical knowledge and exposure to employer expectations. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, emphasising the excursion's role in fostering industry awareness and preparing students for future careers.

Due to its success, the Horsham College Automotive team plans a similar activity in 2024, building on this year's feedback to create an even more enriching experience.
