🏏🎀 NEW GLEN INNES HIGH SCHOOL CRICKET NETS OPEN 🏏🎀

It was terrific to take a good look at and have a hit in the new cricket practice nets at Glen Innes High School yesterday.

Aside from personally dusting off a few batting and bowling cobwebs, it was great to catch up with some of the school's successful cricketers, who are absolutely loving the new facilities!

The nets are a result of a collaborative effort between the Glen Innes Junior Cricket Association, Cricket NSW, Glen Innes High School P&C Association, and the State Government.

Funding was also secured from the Australian Cricket Infrastructure Fund (ACIF), which is designed to attract and grow participation in cricket. I have no doubt this goal will be achieved.

What a fabulous facility for the school and the local cricketing community!

Well done to everyone involved in this fantastic project and thank you to P&C President Leanne Eastwood and to the boys for going easy on me in the nets! 👏🏼😂
