Parents Association

On behalf of the Mazenod College Parents Association, we wish all families, students and staff the blessings of a happy Christmas and safe New Year.

The Parents Association aims to encourage a greater sense of community and service, provides a forum for positive interaction with parents and friends of the College, and supports the provision of additional facilities and resources for all the students. We administer funds (collected through the Parents Association Levy) with a key focus on assisting, benefiting, enhancing, or developing the College Co-Curricular Program.

In 2025, the Parents Association funded a number of additional facilities and resources for the College community, including:

Year 13 Program
Daniel Principe (Youth Advocate & Educator) Parent Presentation
New games and accessories for the Games Club
Supply and installation of customised drapes for Oblate Hall (which helped balance both the acoustics and the aesthetics to transform the space from a gymnasium into an amazing theatre for “School of Rock – The Musical” and which is well utilised for a number of College events)
Three (3) new barbeques for the College, which were utilised for the Mazenod Mission Day, Peer Support Brekky, R U OK? Day and a number of other College events
Art supplies for a whole school collaborative art project, depicting the six Noongar seasons, which commenced during Harmony Week and was officially unveiled during the NAIDOC Assembly
Artificial Flowers for the Chapel to supplement the Chapel’s Fresh Flower Roster
Funding for the Ferragosto Event, following the Feast of the Assumption Mass, during Languages Week
Shirts for the Indigenous students as part of the Mazenod Indigenous Program, presented to the students during NAIDOC Week celebrations
Funding for Staff Appreciation Day Morning Tea
Sustainable Garden Project
Funding for Mazenod Helping Hands events, including Open Day and the Year 12 Farewell Assembly
A significant contribution towards Year 11 Lockers, Yarning Circle, Air-conditioning in the PAC & Science Labs and the 2026 Mural Project
