Please join us this Saturday afternoon, 5pm – 6pm, for our annual Carols service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church.

The Chapel Band had the privilege of playing for the final Junior School Chapel service last Friday. The Junior school students sang with enthusiasm and impressed us with their actions to My Lighthouse. It was such a joyful experience, and the Chapel Band was truly grateful for the opportunity to serve the Junior School in this way.

Students gathered under the big tree for a relaxed lunchtime experience as Live at Lunch brought contemporary sounds to the school. This casual and fun event was the perfect midweek pick-me-up, featuring talented Year 12 musicians. Looking ahead, we’re excited to showcase performers from all grades in future Live at Lunch sessions!

iBand got very Christmassy last week, performing two concerts for Junior School. The students had worked consistently and learned many traditional Christmas carols, including Hark the Herald Angels Sing and Away In A Manger and well as some more contemporary songs, including Jingle Bell Rock. We began with a concert for Pre-K who were able to look at and hear each instrument individually, hear us play as a group, and then dance along to a few tunes. Our lunchtime playground concert became a wonderful sing-along for many Junior School students and it was a really rewarding time for both the audience and the band. iBand has worked hard this year, and we look forward to next year where we will say goodbye to some members as they move into Concert Band, and hello to some new members who are moving into High School.

These ensembles performed for residents at Calare Nursing home today and were wonderful ambassadors for our School. Both groups played a variety of repertoire to entertain the appreciative audience. Thank you to Ms Victoria Chatterley, Director of the Kinross Wolaroi School Brass Ensemble, and Mrs Moxey, director of iStrings, for their preparation for this concert.
