Holt Sports Competition - 2026

Beginning in 2026, our senior students will be competing in the Holt district rather than the Dendy district for Interschool Sports. This decision has been made after careful consideration of several factors, with the main reason being our school’s size and our  difficulty in fielding full teams for Dendy events.

The Holt Competition is made up of smaller schools, which will allow our students to participate in a division that is fairer, more balanced, and better aligned with our school community. Schools competing in Holt include Our Lady of Lourdes Prahran, St Mary’s East St Kilda, St Columba’s Elwood, St Agnes’ Highett, St Catherine’s Moorabbin, and St Anthony’s Glen Huntly.

We are very much looking forward to supporting our students as they participate in the Holt Competition. We know they will continue to represent St Joseph’s with outstanding sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and pride.
