Diocesan Athletics
On Friday 9th August 2024 we have a number of students who will be representing St Mary of the Angels at this years Diocesan Athletics Carnival in Tamworth. We wish all of these students luck and know that they will represent our school with pride, displaying great sportsmanship.
Goodluck to the following students:
Brock Adams, Charlotte Bavea, Arlie Rosser, Billie Cox, Catie Furphy, Charlotte Perrett, Chloe Reeves, Christopher Welsh, Clancy Robinson, Darcie Campbell, Darcy Sisson, Ned Newberry, Elliot Bush, Flynn McFarlane, Hugo Sisson, Bella Hayes, Jack Newberry, Kirby Nugent, Lexi Cochrane, Matthew Sauer, Oskar Laing, Rylan Wilson, Scarlett Newberry, Thomas Laing, Penny McLennan.
Term 3 Sport
This term, all students will be participating in the Sporting Schools AFL Program. This program will run over a number of weeks on a Friday, starting in Week 3 and will be run by a coach from North West AFL. Students will learn about the rules of the game and the skills involved to play.
This is a free program for our students due to St Mary of the Angels being approved for Sporting Schools funding. This is a great government initiative that allows our students to have access to knowledgeable coaches in chosen sports.
Sporting Stories
We would love to showcase your child’s special sporting achievements in the newsletter. Please email detailed information and a photograph to guyadmin@arm.catholic.edu.au. Please ensure photographs do not contain students from other schools as we are unable to publish them.
