Welcome back to school for Term Three. This week our chess team will be representing the school in the fifth round of the New South Wales Junior Chess League against St Bede’s Catholic College, Chisholm. We wish them well! 

The Premier’s Reading Challenge (PRC) will close on Friday 23 August. Several of our students have already completed the challenge. The PRC exposes students to a rich collection of children’s literature representing a range of books, including fiction, non-fiction, picture books, poetry, and a wide variety of Australian authors. Successful candidates will receive a certificate if they read twenty books, including up to ten books of their own choice. 

After twenty rounds the NRL Footy Tipping competition is still quite competitive. Although we still have the same leader, there has been changes on the leadership board. Please remember to fill out your tip sheet in the library by 3.15pm on Thursdays or email them before kick-off on Thursday night.
