Wellbeing

During Term Three, students will immerse themselves in the Resilience Project to advance their mental health and emotional well-being. They will acquire practical tools and strategies for cultivating positive relationships, managing stress, regulating emotions, and fostering a positive mindset to better handle challenges. This process will include GEM chats in their classes, focusing on gratitude, empathy, mindfulness, and emotional literacy, which will provide regular check-ins in addition to weekly sessions. Students will use their TRP journals to reflect on their personal experiences and key learnings, enhancing their self-awareness and reinforcing the program's core principles. Throughout each day, students will conduct brain breaks to support their own wellbeing, through playing social games, simple exercises, stretching, mindfulness practices, or fun and creative tasks.
