Outstanding Achievement

A huge congratulations goes out to Dante Barbanera of Year 7 who won a silver medal at the Pan Kids International Championships in America. Dante was competing in Division 3 where he faced two full time athletes who are home schooled in order to focus on their training. Well done Dante, we are all very proud of you!

Bathurst

On Saturday, the Rugby Department travelled to Bathurst to take on St Stanislaus' College in what was a great day of action-packed Rugby. While across the day many results did not go our way, at times in controversial fashion, the Fifth XV took home the Dan Kerlin Cup in a great result. Overall, Rugby and the SPC spirit was the real winner of the day. This was especially clear on the bus ride home, where boys sang and had a great time. Thank you to all involved.

Football

The First XI had a draw which keeps them in second place, the Second XI had a strong win despite missing a few players, the 16As had a strong win as well as the 15As. It was good to see a strong effort from all SPC Football teams despite many challenges on the day. Thank you all for your effort.

Reminder

All boys are to wear their SPC Supporters' uniform when attending fixtures, whether playing or not. This includes the college hat.

Best of luck to all teams for the remainder of the season.
