Surfside Athletics Event Grades 3-6

We have our annual Surfside Athletics coming on Wednesday 29th May. This event will be held at Landy Field and is for students in Years 3–6. The day will commence at 9:30am and conclude by 2:00pm. Many helpers are required to assist with the organisation and running of events. If you are available and willing to help out on the day, please complete the following questions on the link below. Upon receiving replies to this survey, I will be in touch to discuss your role for the day. Thank you in advance for lending your time and support to our Surfside Athletics Day.

Student Excursions & Events Payments

A reminder that all student Excusions and Events need to to be paid for by the nominated cut-off date. We will not be able to accept payments on the day of the excusion or event.

Please be mindful of this and keep looking in your Parent Compass portal for any upcomming events.

  • If you are experiencing financial hardship, please call our office for assistance.
  • If you cannot log into your Compass Portal, call our office to have your password reset.
  • If you are using a new credit card for payments, call our office to have those details, updated.

Working With Children Check Required for Parent Volunteers

It is encouraged that all parents apply for a voluntary Working With Children check. These cards are free of charge and a mandatory requirement for all adults who wish to volunteer at the school in any capacity.

You can now fill WWC Check application online. Please go to http://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/

After you fill out your details, print out your application form and take it to an Australia Post outlet with your proof of identity and a passport size photo for processing.

Please bring  your WWCC card to our school office when you receive it and we will do an induction so that you can attend excursions and help in the classroom for 2024.

This induction only takes 5 minutes, is only done once a year and is conducted from our school office.

School Hours

Classes Start: 8:45am

 Classes Finish: 3:15pm

     Recess 10:50 -11:20am (Eating Time 10.45-10.50)

    Lunch 1:30 - 2:15pm (Eating Time 1.20-1.30)

 

Please ensure your child/children are at school prior to 8:45am. Students should not be arriving before 8.30am.

 

All students who arrive late must sign in at the office and take a late pass to the teacher.

Students leaving early must be signed out by a parent at the office.

 

Camp Australia is also available for before and after school if required. 

Please refer to the Camp Australia website for more information.

 

If your child is leaving school early could you please email the class teacher, giving a time that you would like your child to be at the office ready for pick up. Unfortunately we are unable to call students over the intercom, unless it is recess, lunchtime or from 3.10pm.

Al orders are delivered to our office free of charge and will be given to the students at the end of the day or parents can collect them.
