Divison Cross Country
On Tuesday Epping Views took a group of 53 Cross Country runners to the District Cross Country at Bundoora Park. These runners were selected from our school Cross Country event, many attending for the first time.
Epping Views had a successful morning. All competitors did our school proud, demonstrating the school values of Respect, Responsibility and Excellence with every student finishing the race. Many finished in the top 30, with 7 students receiving ribbons for placing in the top 10.
These Students will now go on and represent the school at the Division Cross Country in June.
EVPS finished a respectable 3rd overall out of the 11 schools competing. A huge shout to all the students who attended, well done everyone and big congratulations to the 7 runners who placed:
Eva C (3JA)
Liana V (5AW)
Kaylob A (5ME)
Christian N (5DG)
Angelique G (6JC)
Emily C (6JE)
Connor H (6AA)
A big thanks to all the staff and volunteers who helped out on the day; Con, Christine and Zelma.

Good Afternoon EVPS Community,
On Tuesday April 30th, many of our best runners attended the District Cross Country. Fifty Three EVPS students from Grade 3, 4, 5 & 6 represented our school with pride. For those of you who are unsure how Cross Country works – basically we all run at school, the fastest runners are selected by our P.E Teachers - Aaron & Nicole, to go to Bundoora Park and represent Epping Views up against all the other schools from our district.
We arrived at Bundoora Park around 10am. The landscape was surrounded by native plantation and beautiful wildlife – which included lots of ducks! We felt very fortunate to represent our school (and avoid doing some schoolwork…) for the day.
Students were separated by two categories. We had the following students represent our school.
Everyone did really well, many of students were awarded Cross Country cards for successfully completing the 2.5 to 3.5 kilometre long distance run. Seven of our students accomplished an incredible feat of finishing in the Top 10 across the entire district. These students will represent Epping Views Primary School on June 5th at the Divisions Cross Country event located in Kilmore.
Congratulations to:
Eva C – 3JA (finished 6th)
Liana V – 5AW (finished 4th)
Angelique – 6JC (finished 7th)
Emily C – 6JE (finished 9th)
Christian N – 5DG (finished 7th)
Kaylob A – 5ME (finished 8th)
Connor H – 6AA (finished 5th)
Overall, everyone had a great time, tried their best and really enjoyed the Bundoora Park playground which was super popular!
