Performing Arts News Term 2

Congratulations to all students who auditioned for our 2024 Production. Year 3 - 6 have submitted a singing and acting video to Seesaw and Year 1-2 students are making a video in their Performing Arts class. The next step is for the audition panel to assess the auditionees’ performances. Some students will be required to do a live audition before specific roles can be decided. We are hoping to have this finalised in June.

It is important that students do not accept a role if they are going to be away from school in Term 3 or the first 2 weeks of Term 4. Parents can support their child by praising their brave efforts to participate. It is also important that parents reinforce that there are only 35 main roles. Not everyone can be the Noble Gnarble or Nemo or Dory. Those from the choir who auditioned for the senior production will form the main cast. Dance auditions will take place towards the end of Term 2.

Thank you to those who have donated pool noodles and caps. We are still on the lookout for yellow and orange noodles and old baseball caps.

Regards
