Food Studies Update

Term 1 was very busy in the Gillard Centre! 

 

Year 8 students learnt about all things safety, hygiene and measurement, whilst developing their practical skills. 

 

Year 9 focused on multicultural foods including learning about Australian bush foods, Greek and Mexican cuisines. 

 

Year 10 explored all things Food Science from learning about why we cook food to experimenting with different preparation techniques such as fermentation and pastry making.
