Mathematics - International Maths Challenge’s Online Simulated Maths Challenge (OSMC)

Below are the details for a weekend International Maths Challenge. If you and your child are interested in completing this please contact me at joshua.crowe@sjvermont.catholic.edu.au and I am happy to register you and assist you with the process.

The OSMC will be held online over the weekend of June 8-9, 2024. Students can take the test anytime in this 48-hour window. Students will be able to take the exam from the comfort of their homes. We maintain exam integrity using advanced AI proctoring technology and human supervisors.

Below is more information.

Dear Parents,

We are pleased to inform you that the International Maths Challenge’s Online Simulated Maths Challenge (OSMC) is back and since St James' School is a Selected School, your child can participate in the Maths Challenge without any fees.

You can find all the details here.

After the exam, IMC teachers will have a live video session to review the exam and its solutions. This will help your child see where they made mistakes and where they did well. If you’re not sure if the exam is too hard for your child, you can check out some sample questions here. These questions are among the tougher lot of questions asked in the Olympiad, for the grade you choose. If your child can grasp the explanatory solutions provided after the questions, then they’re good to register for the Olympiad.

The registration deadline is approaching soon.

For any queries, you can write to the IMC directly at support@international-maths-challenge.com

Good luck!

Thanks

Josh Crowe
