Kitchen Garden

The F-3 students have been busy making a magical fairy garden for our Environment Centre.  They have used craft items, timber, popsicle sticks and glue.  Make sure when you're at school next to stop and have a look.  They have done a fantastic job.

The 4-6 students have explored how fresh produce from gardens can have a lower environmental impact than produce transported long distances, stored for long periods or grown in ways that can harm the environment and Earth's resources and how growing fresh produce has learning, health, sustainability and social benefits.  They have made paper mache pots and have been helping the younger students as well.
