Years F & 1

It has been a busy couple of weeks at school, and the kids have been amazing through it all.
The students had a look this week at comparing the book we read to other books they have read. They had to think about 'The Pocket Dogs' and how this story may have been similar to another story they have read or heard before. They might not have been able to remember the title of the story, but they could recall what had happened and link it to 'The Pocket Dogs'.
In art this week, we used nature to help complete our artworks. Students had to think about a picture they wanted to create and select items from nature to help create it. Once we were back in the art room, students experimented with how it would all go together. They painted the items and then printed them onto a piece of paper. They all had some incredible ideas, and there were some great finished products.
In MARC Van the F/2's, the students acted out the story 'Frank's Red Hat'. The students were the seals in the story.
