Assessment and Reporting

STUDENT DIGITAL PORTFOLIOS

Student learning samples are shared with families across the year via Seesaw. Please check Seesaw to view annotated portfolio samples illustrating your child’s learning and achievement in the following areas each term:

• English - Reading and Viewing
• English - Writing
• Mathematics - Number and Algebra
• Mathematics (Applied Mathematics) - Measurement and Geometry OR Statistics and Probability
• Inquiry (not annotated)

Speaking and listening skills will be highlighted through one of the other annotated portfolio samples each semester. 

Learning samples may not be polished or ‘end of unit’ pieces. They are intended to provide a realistic ‘snapshot in time' of your child’s achievement and learning progress.

Specialist teachers will update a learning snapshot for all students once a semester in their respective areas. (Physical Education, Visual Art, Performing Arts, Auslan and STEM)

SEMESTER REPORTS

At the end of Terms Two and Four, parents will be able to access their child’s academic results on their Semester report, via Compass.
