Student Engagement
Bianka, Vicky & Vira
We would like to share an update on the important work happening since the students participated in the Youth Resilience Survey and the ACER Social Emotional Wellbeing Survey, which provided us with valuable insights into their experiences, strengths, and areas for growth.
As a staff team, we came together to carefully examine the data, identify trends, and have meaningful discussions about how to share this information back with students in a respectful and supportive way. Our aim has been to ensure that students feel heard, valued, and empowered to be part of the change.
We will begin sharing key findings with students in the form of wonderings. From here, we will ask for their feedback and ideas about what could make our school an even better place for learning, connection, and well-being. We will provide strategies and resources here each fortnight to support these wonderings from home. We know that a strong school-family partnership is essential to improving student wellbeing and creating substantial impact, together.

The highlights show a remarkable sense that our community of young people is generally happy, understands the importance of treating others with respect, gets along with their families, and has a sense of belonging at school. Together, as a community, we are excited about what we can achieve for their wellbeing.
