National Reconciliation Week 2025
Loving God,
On this day we acknowledge the Aboriginal
and Torres Strait Islander people throughout Australia.
We turn to you in prayer and seek the help
of the Holy Spirit as we commit ourselves
to journeying together in a spirit of Reconciliation.

Celebrating Reconciliation week:
National Reconciliation Week in Australia occurs annually from May 27- June 3. It's a time for reflection and action, encouraging Australians to learn about shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to work towards a more equitable and just nation. During this time the students will have the opportunity to discuss reconciliation with friends and family, and to explore ways to get involved in reconciliation efforts. Thank you to Year 3/4BP who last Friday led us in prayer with a focus on celebrating reconciliation week.
Parents and Carers Faith Night for Year 1/2
At St Fidelis, we acknowledge that parents are the first teachers of faith to their children. As a catholic school, we offer Parent/Child workshops and faith formation across all levels. Parents, carers and children of our 2025 1/2VS & 1/2CW cohort are invited to attend a Faith Formation Workshop on Thursday 26th June at 7.00pm.
And parents, carers and children of our 2025 1/2NA & 1/2OB cohort are invited to attend a Faith Formation Workshop on Thursday 28th August at 7.00pm. The Faith Formation Workshops will be facilitated by Pauline Cicutto. Pauline works for MACS as a learning consultant in Religious Education specialising in faith formation nights. More information will be provided closer to the time and date. Please add these dates to your diary.
Celebrating Mass
Throughout the term the students will have the opportunity to attend mass. We invite parents and carers to take the time and opportunity to participate in these special celebrations. This week, Year 5/6NT and FOS will be attending mass on Tuesday 3rd of June at 9.15am.
