Dear Parents and Carers,

I hope everyone is well and  you were able to enjoy the first weekend of winter with moments of rest.  As we welcome this new season, our thoughts are especially with our Victorian farmers, we continue to pray for much needed rain and relief for them.  

Year 5/6 - Camp Thank you

I would like to extend a big thank you to our wonderful teachers who generously gave up their time to attend and support last week's Year 5/6 school camp at Lancefield. It was a fantastic few days filled with fun, laughter, and new experiences. All the students were exceptionally well behaved and represented our school beautifully. A special thank you to the dedicated staff for making this such a memorable and successful camp for everyone involved.

Winter Uniform

A friendly reminder that all students should now be wearing their full winter uniform, unless you are currently waiting on an order from PSW. Please ensure all clothing items are clearly labelled, as we have a significant number of jumpers and jackets in the lost property area.

Child Safety Reminder 

I  would like to remind all families that the school gates open at 8:30am. Students should not arrive before this time. We have observed a number of students arriving 15–20 minutes early, often riding their bikes or playing in the streets without supervision. To ensure the safety of all students, any child arriving before 8:30am must be accompanied by a parent or carer.

As a reminder, you can register for Before School Care with THEIRCARE to ensure your child is supervised safely before the gates open.

Additionally, the Benny Lane gate will now remain closed in the morning, students can enter via Hawthorn Street and Saunders Street gate.  This allows staff to clearly monitor students in Benny Lane and help ensure their safety.

Thank you for your continued support in helping us provide a safe and well-supervised environment for all students.

Parents  & Friends' Meeting -Tues 3 June 7:30pm

The Parents and Friends Executive Committee warmly invites all parents and friends to join us for our upcoming meeting this Tuesday night at 7:30pm in the school staffroom.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with our new executive team as they lead the meeting. We always welcome fresh ideas and new members. Your voice and involvement makes a real difference in our school community. We hope to see as many of you there as possible!
