From The Acting Principal

Today is World Environment Day.

Our Environment Student Action Team (EAT) have been celebrated at the Sustainability Achievers Award Ceremony held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground as part of the 2025 Resource Smart School Awards. This year, EAT were finalists in the Student Action Team category!

Eileen, Noel, Greta, Isaac, Lola and Avani represented our team, showcasing the wonderful projects they have completed. Our students also planned, set up and ran a stall for all attendees to interact with.

We couldn’t be more proud of our EAT and their achievements!

Bilingual Schools Network Workshop

Today, BSPS had the pleasure of hosting the termly Bilingual Schools Network workshop, with representatives from all 11 Melbourne bilingual schools in attendance.

It was a productive and inspiring day of collaboration, where we shared experiences, explored challenges and celebrated our shared commitment to bilingual education.

We would like to sincerely thank all staff involved in the preparation and success of today’s event. A heartfelt thank you to:

  • Nancy, Chiara, Simonetta and Sarah B for presenting, coordinating and leading the event with such care and professionalism
  • Mary for her outstanding coordination of logistics, catering and space organisation
  • Sunday, Marcel, Siena, Marta, Dot, Valerio, Giorgia and Ike for taking our guests on a tour of our learning areas and answering their questions with confidence.

Divisional Cross Country

We are so very proud of our students: Lulu, Madeleine, Rhys, Michael, Gabe, Osian, Mackie, Harriet & Leo C who represented BSPS in the next level of cross-country competition. Ciara enjoyed witnessing our students push themselves to their limits, encourage one another and make connections with students from other local schools.

As Monday is a long weekend, we will see you all on Tuesday.

Buon fine settimana ‘lungo’!
