A report from Principal Tyson Smith
As we approach the end of another busy term and begin preparing student reports, it’s a fitting time to pause and reflect on what truly matters in education. While Aberfeldie Primary School proudly values learning and strives for excellence, we must always remember that our children are far more than just a grade or a dot on a page.
So when you receive your child’s report later this term, we invite you to look beyond the grades. Celebrate their effort, their attendance, their growth, their ability to connect with others, and the unique strengths they bring to each day.
We would like to share some updates regarding our staff team as we head into the final weeks of Term 2:
Aberfeldie Primary School wants to hear from our parents and carers about how we are doing as a school. We are currently conducting a Parent/Carer Pulse Check Survey to gather valuable feedback that will support future planning and school improvement.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could take 10 minutes to complete the survey and help guide the future direction of our school.
We are in the final stages of preparing for our Centenary Gala Dinner on Saturday 21st June. This special event will be a highlight of our 100-year celebrations.
Ticket sales close at midnight on Sunday 15th June, so don’t miss out! Get your tickets now and join us for an evening of celebration and connection.
We thank all of our staff for their incredible work this term and look forward to a strong and positive end to the semester.
