Thank you to Assunta for her help on the day with helping me set up the marquee and with performing the pre-race warmups and to the parents who helped with washing the borrowed aths tops.
The above qualifiers will now advance to the Southern Peninsula Division Championships to be held at Hastings Foreshore on Wednesday. Best of luck to all of you!
St Kilda AFLW girls visit St Joseph's School
Last Friday, 30th May, the 5/6 students were treated to a special Q & A session and a Kick-to-Kick with some of St Kilda's AFLW Superstars. The 5/ 6 students thoroughly enjoyed hearing about how their pathway to AFLW and what their day-to-day routine looked like as an AFLW player.
The Saints players included :
Nicola Stevens Hannah Priest
Alana Gee Jaimee Lambert
Charlotte Simpson J'Noemi Anderson
Nicola Xenos and Rene Caris
The Saints players were super impressed with all of our students' kicking skills, particularly from our girls, who are soon to take part in our Girls Footy Day next Wednesday 11th June, when the boys will also take part in the Boys Netball Day. The Operoo for this event will be sent out shortly.
Warm Regards,
Jenny Todd
