Recognition of Service Ceremony

It was both a privilege and honour to attend the Department’s recently held annual Recognition of Service Ceremony. The ceremony honours the remarkable individuals whose lifelong commitment has helped shape generations of learners across the state.

This year’s event paid tribute to staff who have achieved outstanding service milestones of 40, 50, 55, and an extraordinary 60 years. Each of these honourees represents a legacy of dedication, care, and unwavering support for public education in Victoria.

We warmly congratulate all recipients on reaching these impressive milestones. Their enduring contribution to the lives of students, families, and communities deserves the highest recognition. Whether in classrooms, offices, support roles or leadership, their passion for education has left a lasting mark.
