SCHOOL SPORT 2025
Western Cross Country Carnival
The Western Cross Country Carnival will be held on Wednesday 11th June 2025 at Gosling Creek in Orange. The children who have qualified to attend this carnival are;
Charlotte Seager, Natalia Heiner, James Hollier, Jordyn Gleeson, Will Skein, Kaelan Wheeler, Lilly Guihot, Sophie McPhee, Jax Brennan and Heidi Lyle
District and Western Sport Trials
In 2025, Mrs Francis will coordinate all district and western trial information for PSSA Sporting teams.
Some trials at a school level will be held prior to the district trials. This depends on the sport and popularity of trials at the district level.
When trialling for district and western teams, notes will go home with students from school and will need to be returned to school to Mrs Francis before the due date.
Students cannot attend trials without this note being approved by the school and students names entered into trials by the school.
Students can find out about upcoming school, district and western trials by listening to Sentral announcements in class, and parents can find out about trials by keeping up to date through the School Newsletter.
School Sporting Teams and scheduled Training
Boccia Team
Boccia training will be held during Break 2 next Thursday 5th June with Miss Reedy.
Rugby League Squad
The Rugby League Squad will train next week during Break 1 on Tuesday 3rd June and Break 2 Thursday 5th June.
Mouthguards and headgear must be worn to all squad trainings.
The team will be selected in the coming weeks.
School Soccer Team
The Soccer Gala Day will be held on Friday 30th May. We wish our team, Mrs McPhee and Miss Barber the very best of luck. The first game is at 9am agaonst Raglan PS.
Girls Basketball
Training will be held Break 2 on Wednesday 4th June with Mr Datt (Mrs Francis Away)
Boys Basketball
Training will be held Break 2 on Wednesday 4th June with Mr Datt
Cricket Team
We are waiting to hear about our next game with Orange Public School after the game was cancelled due to weather last Thursday.
